“What if what you believed about the Ent Times was all wrong?”

I’ve already gone through that. I used to believe in the “rapture” and what not. I sin a lot, so I was afraid I would be “left behind” (it even made me cry- I was so scared- when I was in 4th grade, because I didn’t like going to church for 3 hours every sunday, screaming preachers and the same gospel hymns over and over again, I figured I wasn’t a good Christian). I physically felt a relief of tension when I found out it was all a hoax.

I understand completely. I was raised as a nominal Protestant, even though my father was Jewish. We went to church every now and then, so I really never learned much about the New Testament or the Christian faith. The only thing I ever heard when we did go to church was the Rapture. The pastor (and my mother) made
G-d out to be so vengeful and scary, that I ultimately adopted my father’s faith as a young adult. I’m glad it’s a hoax as well, but I feel terrible for all the people who are being led astray and having their minds polluted by Tim LaHaye and others like him.
