I went through confirmation when I was about 14 , at the time , I realize now , I was really immature and was just kind of going with the flow. One thing is for sure , and that’s that I wouldn’t have signed up and done it under my own steam at that time. Now as an adult I’m coming back to the church and wanted to know if it was acceptable for me to do the RCIA classes even though technically I don’t need to , I just feel it would teach me alot and be very rewarding and that I would fully appreciate the gravity of it so much more now as an adult.

Hi,

Even though you can’t be Confirmed again attending the RCIA classes could be a good way to get re-acquainted with the faith.

I also encourage you to read our tracts that are available on catholic.com under “Library.”
