I still crack up when i think of that movie. I think that’s the funniest movie.

I think Superbad is hilarious too…but it’s inappropriate…it depicts highschool life pretty well too (with a bit of exaggeration)
 
it’s a toss-up between the gods Must Be Crazy and this really old British movie, Hobson’s Choice…

I hate “Life of Brian” :mad: - the trailers were enough to warn me off it.​

As for the question: Merrily We Live [1938] has tobe a contender.
 
I have seen Arthur about 1000 times and yet I still laugh hysterically when I see it again. John Gielgud is so funny as the butler.

Also, I love The Man Who Came to Dinner. Monty Wooley is hysterical as the sharp-tongued Sheridan Whiteside.

“Well, Mr. Whiteside, I want to introduce you to my boyfriend, but he’s says your too harsh and mean to meet.”

“My dear, why does everyone say that I’m mean. I’m not mean. Now, BRING THIS IDIOT IN!”

:rotfl: Not exact wording, but close. The “idiot” line is accurate.
 
I hate to admit this but, “Elf.” Even though I know the lines, I still laugh my butt off when I’m watching it.
 
Getting in late here, so these two may have been mentioned.

Caddy Shack is hilarious.

And Paint Your Wagon is up there on my list. Lee Marvin is at his best in that movie imo. Clint Eastwood sings in the movie as well. Not his best moment lol.
