I was wondering, there are some injustices that must be righted by the victim but there are some which don’t need to be righted by the victim.

So what are some examples of the latter and the former?

Not sure I completely understand your question, but…

We cannot make the choice for others (ie. we must defend the rights of the unborn, etc.), but when it comes to ourselves, it is lawful to endure anything so long as we do not sin. Christ endured every injustice even to the point of being crucified like a criminal.

I think you understand my question perfectly. But I also know that we can’t endure the injustice of a cheating spouse, so its not true that we can endure every injustice against ourselves unless somehow this case of the corruption of a marriage is an injustice not against us, but against something else?

We certainly can and many do endure this injustice. Because of the duties and ends of marriage, the victim should do everything they can to correct their spouse’s behavior- counselling, pray for them, etc., and they are also obliged to protect themselves and those in their care (ie, minor children) from serious harm (abuse, std’s, etc.). However, if the spouse will not be corrected and these other duties are met, the victim may choose to stay and endure the infidelity.
