What is a Blessing?

[Hoxbar]

This probably sounds really silly, but what is a blessing?

What does it mean when Scritpure says Jesus “blessed them”

I don’t feel different after a “Blessing” by the priest at Mass. Should I feel something?

Please help me out, I don’t understand.

A blessing is a prayer made on your behalf.

There is no reason that you should perceive any physical sensation. Some people claim to do so, but this feeling may be psychological.
