Not the Sacraments, those are Gifts from GOD.

Giving alms, Charity in all it’s forms, praying for the souls in Purgatory and for your brothers, using your God given gifts for the benefit of the Church (the Body of Christ). An example volunteering to help your church’s parrishoners.

I know some Protestants think we’re saved by faith alone and think Baptism is not necessary because it is a work that doesn’t need to be done.

They are seriously misinterpreting St. Paul who wrote about baptism:

Rom.6[4] We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.

Eph.4[5] one Lord, one faith, one baptism,

Col.2[12] and you were buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.

Gal.3[27] For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

1Cor.12[13] For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body – Jews or Greeks, slaves or free – and all were made to drink of one Spirit.

Rom.6[3] Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?

And about good works:

Rom.2[6] For he will render to every man according to his works.

Heb.10[24] and let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works.

1Tim.6[18] They are to do good, to be rich in good deeds, liberal and generous.

Tit.3[8] The saying is sure. I desire you to insist on these things, so that those who have believed in God may be careful to apply themselves to good deeds; these are excellent and profitable to men.
[14] And let our people learn to apply themselves to good deeds, so as to help cases of urgent need, and not to be unfruitful.

St. James goes even farther and says quite plainly:

Jas.2[14] What does it profit, my brethren, if a man says he has faith but has not works? Can his faith save him?
[17] So faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead.
[18] But some one will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I by my works will show you my faith.
[20] Do you want to be shown, you shallow man, that faith apart from works is barren?
[21] Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he offered his son Isaac upon the altar?
[22] You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by works,
[24] You see that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone.
[25] And in the same way was not also Rahab the harlot justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way?
[26] For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so faith apart from works is dead.

Jas.3[13] Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good life let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom.

Wow :bigyikes: Rejecting Baptism?

That’s a really twisted theology there. I mean how can you become a follower of Christ by rejecting His verbatim words

Mark 16:15 And he said to them: “Go forth to the whole world and preach the Gospel to every creature.
16:16 Whoever will have believed and been baptized will be saved. Yet truly, whoever will not have believed will be condemned.

This of course does not mean that IF the person is invincinbly ignorant of the Gospel and therefore is not Baptized cannot be saved.
But if you DO know that to believe in Him you NEED to be Baptized and reject it how can you claim ignorance?
Or is it that the words there are not sufficiently plain?

Yeah the Baptist believe all you need is faith. The moment you accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, You’re saved. Baptism is just a ritual that should be adheard to but is not necessary. Crazy, I know.
The Salvation Army believes this too.
