What is a monitum?

I recently received an affirmative on my annulment. When I received the decision in the mail, it said it had a “monitum” attached to it. What exactly is this?
 
Dear M,

A monitum is a warning. You need to ask your priest or your marriage tribunal what the monitum is. For Example, sometimes a monitum will require that the person get counseling before attempting marriage again.
