I found this on a group here for Traditional Catholics; It is NOT my definition.
Or are traditional Catholics something else all together?
*How to know if you are a Traditional Catholic –
- You have the traditional Catholic faith. You believe and accept everything taught in the Church up until Vatican II. As for Vatican II itself, most traditional Catholics accept it completely so long as the documents of Vatican II are interpreted in the light of traditional Catholic doctrine. (c.f. Pope Benedict’s “Hermeneutic of Continuity”). Some traditional Catholics reject it completely.
- You are attached to the traditional Catholic liturgy. Generally traditional Catholics will not attend a new Mass if there is any other option available to them. Some traditional Catholics will not attend a new Mass no matter what. It is a common belief among traditional Catholics that the new Mass, as commonly celebrated, often includes disrespectful or even sacrilegious elements. Some traditional Catholics believe that the new Mass is always disrespectful and/or sacrilegious no matter how it is celebrated.*
