This is spoken about by Christ when He tells us about the things to come–if not for the elect it would all happen at once!
I am glad that you did not allow the wool to be place over your eyes… sadly many “Catholics” and “non-Catholic Christians” just signed a pact with the Devil… as I understand it, one of our president’s elect priority was to sign an agreement with the world’s powers to finance abortion on demand; it seems that he was not happy enough with mandating that children who survived the abortion process be put to death by the health industry and the state… ever heard of an old SciFi flick titled “Soylent Green?” …well the premise of the movie is that the state solves part of the social problems by converting humans into some sort of food source. It seems to me that the abortion industry (both the killing of the innocent and the disposal of their remains) has truly embraced the sentiments of that movie.
Other than bringing forth His Salvific Plan, I doubt that Yahweh God Wills anyone to damnation; yes, He may push or prod us towards His Goal but eventually it is each individual that determines if he/she will perish or reach Salvation:
Today, I call heaven and earth to witness against you: I am offering you life or death, blessing or curse. Choose life, then, so that you and your descendants may live, (Deuteronomy 20:19)
30 So in future, House of Israel, I shall judge each of you by what that person does – declares the Lord Yahweh. Repent, renounce all your crimes, avoid all occasions for guilt. 31 Shake off all the crimes you have committed, and make yourselves a new heart and a new spirit! Why die, House of Israel? 32 I take no pleasure in the death of anyone – declares the Lord Yahweh – so repent and live!’ (Ezekiel 18:30-32)
14 as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so must the Son of man be lifted up 15 so that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him. 16 For this is how God loved the world: he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life. 17 For God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but so that through him the world might be saved. 18 No one who believes in him will be judged; but whoever does not believe is judged already, because that person does not believe in the Name of God’s only Son. (St. John 3:14-18)
…and while St. Paul speaks of the elect; those who have been chosen in Christ Jesus prior to Creation, he is speaking in reference to passages such as St. John 1:1-18:
9 The Word was the real light that gives light to everyone; he was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world that had come into being through him, and the world did not recognise him. 11 He came to his own and his own people did not accept him. 12 But to those who did accept him he gave power to become children of God, to those who believed in his name 13 who were born not from human stock or human desire or human will but from God himself. (St. John 1:9-13)
