I was questioned that the church believed or even some Christian churches still teach reincarnation but it was changed at one of the Councils can you advise me on this please???
Reincarnation reduces the body to a matter of clothing; the real person is the soul who can wear one body at one time and another at another time. The Church has always taught that we are our bodies. We say that Jesus died for us on the cross; we don’t say that His body died for us. For more on this, see:
