Duh? Maybe you should briefly explain what the JEPD theory is first.
 
There was an article either on this site or Catholic Exchange, which offered another way to look at the duplicate passages in Genesis. The theory is that more than one source was responsible for the book, because the same incident was reported in different ways. The possible sources were given initials. The article said that it could be the same source just repeating what was said in a different way. The church does not forbid either theory. Remember these are theories. If you can find somebody who was alive back them, you can ask them.

The article that I mentioned refutes it but does not say that it is theorectically impossible.

Why do you feel the need to refute it?
One can accept the theory without thereby becoming a bad Catholic.
