Hi,
Recently, especially as I have been praying the Rosary, I seem to emphasize the words “full of grace” with the word grace being enunciated more and spoken slower. What is grace, and how can I better understand it?
Thank you for any thoughts or resources you can provide to help me understand better what grace is.

God bless you all.
Amen.

“The life of God within our souls” is the simplest way to put it. I teach a first grade catechism class and that was one of the hardest words for them all year, taught from the second or third week that they could just never remember, lol.

A simple sounding word, with a very deep, beautiful meaning.

Well said.

Mary.

Excellent explanation!

This thread makes me think of the Miraculous Medal apparitions of Our Lady to St. Catherine Laboure.

It’s so easy for us to be more concerned with natural goods than with the life of God in our souls–that is, supernatural union with God.

That’s why some of the rays of grace coming from Mary’s hands didn’t reach the earth. We don’t ask for grace enough.
