Can you tell me what is happening in North Ireland? Or CNN misled us?

CNN reports on religiously-motivated attacks on protestant civil rights campaigners in Northern Ireland, UK.

Just the same rubbish that’s been going on there for 40 years of so.

Unionists trying to uphold their ridiclulous “traditions” and “Catholic” nationalists trying to get a rise from them.

The truth is that the UK at this point probably doesn’t care about the North and the Republic of Ireland wouldn’t vote to take it back now because we’d have to fund their massive welfare state and deal with the sectarian fallout.

Some people said they weren’t riot Catholics, they were Protestant.
 
Thugs come in all denominations, My husband is from Ireland, only moved here 7 years ago (today is our anniversary!) and he continues to be disgusted by the nonsense.
 
I don’t know they come in all denominations. Does it include Catholic?
 
OK, I realize English is not your first language. It’s a general remark. Meaning, there are criminals in every land and every age. You don’t know any bad Catholics? Certainly there have been. And in every other land and faith.
 
It’s fine Just realize that thugs love the publicity they get.
