“Kabbalah is an ancient wisdom that provides practical tools for creating joy and lasting fulfillment. It’s an incredible system of technology that will completely change the way you look at your world.”

If you call yourself Christian, you should repent of such idolatry as this, and put your Faith in Jesus.
“I Am the Way the Truth and the Life. No-one comes to the Father except through Me” - Jesus.

My church actively takes part in Jewish worship in their Synagogue, and our church encourages us to explore the Jewish faith, which the Kabbalah is a part.

and Jesus was a “Kabbalist”. Was he an idolator. “…The kingdom, the power, and the glory” shows it.

Your quote if Jesus said it more likely means himself as the Son rather than he personally.

I don’t even read the OT in the bible. It’s been changed around too much. With stuff put in it like it isn’t to be changed for example. I read the tanaukh.

Then make no judgments. “He that has an ear let him hear.”
I will judge it. I’m currently delving into it very deeply and I will attempt to summarize it here on what it is and what it means very shortly.

There is a difference in cabala and kaballah. Kaballah is the actual jewish mysticism. Like our mysticism. God is God and mystic sees God in the highest way. You might also look and the book of formations, zohar, and bahir. Specific works of the Kaballah. It was originally taught by God to Adam is tradition.

To clear things up a bit -Jewish Kabbalah is a beautiful system of real-world faithfulness on how to live a good God loving life within the Jewish faith. I think the following link is, for the most part, what the Jewish Kabbalah is about… cs.utah.edu/~spiegel/kabbalah/jkm.htm

–On the other hand…

“Qabalah” as in “Hermetic Qabalah” (en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hermetic_Qabalah) is a completely different EVIL version of Kabbalah, which seems to steal the identity of Jewish Kabbalah and use it for other, more selfish practices, such as Alchemy and Freemasonry and other Pagan style nonsense.

Finally, there is the Christian Cabala, where even Catholic martyrs such as Raymond Lully (newadvent.org/cathen/12670c.htm) took religion to a scientific level, believing that God could be ‘proven’ through nature. His works, however have not been indoctrinated into Church teaching at all… But he was still a good Catholic.🙂

…So basically, there are three different ‘types’ of Kabbalah that I know of, each one spelled slightly different in order to maintain separation of the differences in concepts -but the Jewish one was definantly first and best and appears to be the only one still being used at all. 👍

…And this concludes my judgement, unless anyone has any new information to add.😃

Your analysis is very good for a beginner. Yes I like the Jewish Kaballah. But remember that all that is called evil is only called evil to conceal its holiness. Hermeticism just might not be as evil as you think 😉
But that’s a different story. Good luck in seeking and God bless.

After reading a little bit about the Renaissance Age ‘enlightenment’ period and Hermeticism and Raymond Lully -and things, I’ve come to the conclusion that there were a lot of people back in those days who actually claimed to know how to ‘make’ gold. Including Raymond Lully.

If anyone here knows that recipe for gold, I would appreciate it if you would just PM me with the information. :). Thanks. 😉

Hum. Are you talking about the alchemist’s vulgar gold? Or the AUrum potabile? I know several alchemists that have made the literal gold. There is a coin in existance that is lead on one half and gold on the other and blended in the middle perfectly read Albert magnus and my teacher’s teacher Manfried Junius. Don’t throw pearls to the swine.

Well, id like to discuss AUrum potabiles to begin with. Is it true that by extracting the “essences” of jewels and rare metals, that certain energies and personality potentials can be released?

…that sounds like a relationship between medicine and religion… Very interesting.

First you have to be initiated into the world of the alchemists. I believe there were some in the church too that were alchemists. You start with plant, the metal, alchemy. Everything you know of course is triune. There are the salts, mercury, and sulphur. Respectively body, spirit, and soul of the plant or metal. There is the red dragon and the green lion and many paths to the stone. The stone gives miraculous transmutation powers and prolonges life idefinately. Great is the way though and there be few that find it. Try this site first and if your interested I can introduce you to an alchemist online who pains to go into great detail.

Wrong. You’re following a fad, not the real thing. Kabbalah is an ancient form of study that is quite complex and part of an ongoing, virtually endless, commentary on creation, God, the soul, etc. in the lives of those whose lives are DEDICATED for only this. The “Madonna” version (God forgive her) is nothing but hogwash and new age junk and is intended for the garbage. To study, truly study, Judaic mysticism one must, ultimately, learn Hebrew and acquire a large and sophisticated library. There are things in the “Sepher Yetzirah” that are eye opening, yes, and even mathematically just about correct concerning the true age of creation. But Jesus is not Adam Kadmon, He is nothing to this belief system, merely a “prophet” at best. My advice: I spent years plumbing the mystical Kabbalah and all it did was cause me grief. Run.

Adam Kadmon if I understand it right is the “universal man” What we will become. The “last Adam” final evolution. Remember God’s biggest wish for us is to become just like him and the means a perfect holy being if “being” is even the right word to describe God. And your’e right about the Madonna Garbage.

2110 The first commandment forbids honoring gods other than the one Lord who has revealed himself to his people. It proscribes superstition and irreligion. Superstition in some sense represents a perverse excess of religion; irreligion is the vice contrary by defect to the virtue of religion.

Superstition

2111 Superstition is the deviation of religious feeling and of the practices this feeling imposes. It can even affect the worship we offer the true God, e.g., when one attributes an importance in some way magical to certain practices otherwise lawful or necessary. To attribute the efficacy of prayers or of sacramental signs to their mere external performance, apart from the interior dispositions that they demand, is to fall into superstition.41

Idolatry

2112 The first commandment condemns polytheism. It requires man neither to believe in, nor to venerate, other divinities than the one true God. Scripture constantly recalls this rejection of “idols, [of] silver and gold, the work of men’s hands. They have mouths, but do not speak; eyes, but do not see.” These empty idols make their worshippers empty: "Those who make them are like them; so are all who trust in them."42 God, however, is the "living God"43 who gives life and intervenes in history.

2113 Idolatry not only refers to false pagan worship. It remains a constant temptation to faith. Idolatry consists in divinizing what is not God. Man commits idolatry whenever he honors and reveres a creature in place of God, whether this be gods or demons (for example, satanism), power, pleasure, race, ancestors, the state, money, etc. Jesus says, "You cannot serve God and mammon."44 Many martyrs died for not adoring "the Beast"45 refusing even to simulate such worship. Idolatry rejects the unique Lordship of God; it is therefore incompatible with communion with God.46

2114 Human life finds its unity in the adoration of the one God. The commandment to worship the Lord alone integrates man and saves him from an endless disintegration. Idolatry is a perversion of man’s innate religious sense. An idolater is someone who "transfers his indestructible notion of God to anything other than God."47

Divination and magic

2115 God can reveal the future to his prophets or to other saints. Still, a sound Christian attitude consists in putting oneself confidently into the hands of Providence for whatever concerns the future, and giving up all unhealthy curiosity about it. Improvidence, however, can constitute a lack of responsibility.

2116 All forms of divination are to be rejected: recourse to Satan or demons, conjuring up the dead or other practices falsely supposed to “unveil” the future.48 Consulting horoscopes, astrology, palm reading, interpretation of omens and lots, the phenomena of clairvoyance, and recourse to mediums all conceal a desire for power over time, history, and, in the last analysis, other human beings, as well as a wish to conciliate hidden powers. They contradict the honor, respect, and loving fear that we owe to God alone.

2117 All practices of magic or sorcery, by which one attempts to tame occult powers, so as to place them at one’s service and have a supernatural power over others - even if this were for the sake of restoring their health - are gravely contrary to the virtue of religion. These practices are even more to be condemned when accompanied by the intention of harming someone, or when they have recourse to the intervention of demons. Wearing charms is also reprehensible. Spiritism often implies divination or magical practices; the Church for her part warns the faithful against it. Recourse to so-called traditional cures does not justify either the invocation of evil powers or the exploitation of another’s credulity.

Irreligion

2118 God’s first commandment condemns the main sins of irreligion: tempting God, in words or deeds, sacrilege, and simony.

2119 Tempting God consists in putting his goodness and almighty power to the test by word or deed. Thus Satan tried to induce Jesus to throw himself down from the Temple and, by this gesture, force God to act.49 Jesus opposed Satan with the word of God: "You shall not put the LORD your God to the test."50 The challenge contained in such tempting of God wounds the respect and trust we owe our Creator and Lord. It always harbors doubt about his love, his providence, and his power.51

A type of Jewish mysticism of sorts. It’s odd. It’s written “Kabbalah” because that’s what the Hebrew letters transliterate to.
