Concur with Apryl: “I don’t know”If my home is 2.6 miles from one parish and 3.2 miles from another parish in a neighboring city, do I have a choice between the two or is my parish the one that is 2.6 miles away?
But I do know: It is **not *necessarily ***the case that the parish nearest your domicile is your geographic parish. The boundaries are rarely drawn to be equidistant between parishes.
Repeat the advice: Call either of the parishes or your diocese, and someone ought to be able to tell you which parish you reside in.
