What is my status with the church if i was in an unrecognized marriage and then got divorced?

Hello,

Thank you taking the time to answer.

I was legally married outside of the church, was not an active member, but that’s a story for another time. Now I am legally divorced.

What standing would I have with the church? I need to go to confession obviously, but what else should I know?
 
All you need to do is go to confession and you are free to receive communion and participate in parish life.
