Father Corapi, in one of his programs, goes over the examination of conscience and uses the Ten Commandments. When we confess our sins, are we supposed to confess by indicating we have sinned by confessing that we, for example, broke the 1st, 4th, 6th and 8th Commandments? Or do we specify what it is within each of the Commandments that we have not followed? In other words, I have not kept God as my highest priority, I played golf on Sunday instead of going to Church, I cheated on my wife and I spread gossip about one of my co-workers?
