I thought “Catholic” and “Humanist” were not mutually exclusive.
There is such a thing as Christian humanism. Seeing the worth of every human being as a child of God, created and loved by Him. Jesus Christ our Lord and God! … the Excellent Humanist! I try to model my life after Him, hoping that others will recognize Him and want to do the same. It’s a struggle and I am aware how much I need Him.

Many humanists believe that life ends at our physical death.

Christian humanists need to allow the Lord to live in them in such a way that others will want to pick up their cross and follow Him.
