The problem is with the people and not the document, since disagreements among people do not invalidate a document.But this is what I don’t understand.
I don’t understand how any self-interpreting document can yield different interpretations between folks who (1) all love God, (2) all have studied the subject matter (including advanced college degrees) for a long period of time.
I can’t see how any document can be self interpreting if the subject matter experts on said document can not agree upon what the self interpretation of said document is. If it is self-interpreting, this has no practical value.
