I think it’s true that God doesn’t care what you wear to Mass. My son, a street person, goes to Mass occasionly, he is not always clean, but he is there. I take a handicap lady to Mass, some days, her hair isn’t comb, other times she seems to have a bad odor about her, but she is there. Both of these people I sure God is tickled pink for their presence. Every once in awhile someone comes to Mass in attire that does not cover the body in good taste for attending the celebration of Mass. I’m just as sure the Lord is happy they are there but He probably doesn’t like sharing the "Center Stage. This lack of coverage may cause some members of the parish to have thoughts that would be better left outside the doors of the church.
I love the causal live-style of California, but sometimes a person needs to use a little common sense.
God Bless.
