For example: Pontifical, Solemn High, Sung, and Low.

I suppose the length of the sermons, Gospel, and size of parish, i.e., cycling everyone through communion, etc. would vary all the times. I’ve seen low masses at times last approx. 45 minutes, and high masses 1 1/2 hours. Quality! Not quantity! For example: Pontifical, Solemn High, Sung, and Low.

In my limited experience:For example: Pontifical, Solemn High, Sung, and Low.

Ditto (at least for the FSSP), especially for the Solemn High Mass.In my limited experience:
Low: 50 minutes
High: 1 hour, 15 minutes
Solemn, 1 hour, 30 minutes
You lucky devil!Oh, and Midnight Mass at St. Alphonsus in Baltimore was 2 hours long!
Your high masses are definitely longer than the low masses. For example: Pontifical, Solemn High, Sung, and Low.
Please and thank you!
No, not really. Thanks Guys and Gals, this helps me immensely. I’m doing some in depth research into the Latin Mass, and knowing how long they typically last helps.
Now I am used to the Ordinary Form and their homilies in my experience last maybe 5-15 minutes, in the Extraordinary Form would you say Homilies are longer?
At “my” EF/OF parish, the homilies are exactly the same, even at the Spanish Mass I am presuming. Thanks Guys and Gals, this helps me immensely. I’m doing some in depth research into the Latin Mass, and knowing how long they typically last helps.

Depends on the week in the Liturgy, the priest, if there is something important they must use their Homily for, etc. Thanks Guys and Gals, this helps me immensely. I’m doing some in depth research into the Latin Mass, and knowing how long they typically last helps.
