Not likely to occur in our earthly body, whether it occurs with, or without a glorified resurrected body I could not say. Peter, James and John saw the glory of the Son of God on the mount of transfiguration.

(Enoch, Moses and the patriarchs seemed to have seen a Christophany, or Theophany of the Son of God, while it seems that St. Paul was caught up to the third heaven, or Paradise.)

God’s peace

Hi jenny05037. I get what you say, for real. I just had an incredibly spiritual occurrence very recently. I immediately searched the internet inside and out and the closest definition I could find is a Beatific Vision as well. No question it can occur to an individual during his or her life. Simply look at the Apostle Paul who experienced it when he was knocked off his horse. Although he was a spiritual powerhouse and strongly guided by the Holy Spirit, he no doubt continued on as a flawed man (cf. Romans 7:15 “I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.”). For me, I at once, although milliseconds briefly and yet for eternity, ‘felt’ God, as God is all Love; His Love was with me and in me and I in was in Him; realizing the truest peace and calm as well; of course causing an overwhelming feeling of bliss. All my second guessing my whole ‘prodigal son’ life disappeared as it all became clear that He truly does exist! Hallelujah! How stupid I was not to believe; but now I know there is eternal life with the true Creator and if we are where we should be that eternal life will be all Love! I just sent an email to my local Catholic Pastor to discuss this with him. Like you I am nothing and do not deserve even the slightest of what I felt. I have complete humility but that day I immediately felt scared and lonely- go figure. Scared because I knew that every second of my life God truly did see and know what I did- the thoughts of our heart truly are corrupt. Lonely because ‘does this happen to anyone else?’ The world will think I’m crazy. But like Paul, I guess I will be mad for God!
