What is the Catholic Church's Stand on the Beliefs and Practices of Mormonism?

What is the Catholic Church’s official position on the religious beliefs and practices of Mormonism? I have understand that their position of the Trinity is vastly different from that of Catholic, Orthodox, and Protestant mainline faiths. I also understand that Joseph Smith, the founder of Mormonism, used highly inflamatory language in his Doctrine and Covenants (elaboration of precepts of the Book of Mormon). Is there a recent Papal Encyclical regarding Mormonism or some pronouncement about the Catholic Church’s position on this cult-like belief system?
