What is the Catholic Church's view on holistic practices?

Hi,

I have seen a doctor/chiropractor who practices Holisitic Medicine. He is the only Dr. who helped me with a serious digestive issue, after seeking the advice of 2 Gastroentologists and a couple of MD’s. My Dad recently said that he thinks this is against the Catholic Church. Is he correct? What is the Catholic Churches views on Holistic Medicinal practices?
