What is the Church's position on Anne Catherine Emmerich?

I am reading “The Life of Jesus Christ” by Anne Catherine Emmerich. This is a book describing visions she claimed to have received. I am reading about the Immaculate Conception. The vision she received showed the soul of Mary entering her body 4 1/2 months after conception. The Church teaches that the soul is created at the moment of conception. This book has an imprimatur, but can’t be true, (can it?) She claimed to be divinely inspired but cannot have been if this is what she saw. Since the Pope has beatified her, I’m confused and greatly disturbed. I just need to know how to reconcile this.
