What is the Church's position on Harry Potter?

[lady_arwen]

I am a young Catholic who is totally against Harry Potter, but I just wanted to know if anyone might know the pope’s position on it? I’ve heard it said that the Holy Father is against it because he says it takes children away from the faith.

Okay, the Church doesn’t have an official opinion on Harry Potter, but here is Michelle Arnold’s: forums.catholic-questions.org/showthread.php?t=309927&highlight=harry+potter

And a simple search at the top of your screen will bring up plenty of topics about Harry Potter.
