What is the Church's stand on transgenders?

On the other hand I sympathize with 6 yrs old Ryland’s gender identity crisis, and also feel for his parents. The video is quite convincing, but what is the Church’s stand on parents supporting their children to choose their own genders/orientation? boys choosing to be girls and girls choosing to be boys.
