Hi, I have always wondered what is the Catholic Church’s POV on the theory of evolution
Regarding evolution, I have heard people say they are strictly creationist, and others have said they believe in Christian Darwinism.
One thing I don’t understand about Christian Darwinism though is how can evolution work, aka adapting to the environment and changing to suit needs (over a long time), If we believe God made us through intelligent design? How is it possible that we used to be apes if God created us in his image?
One thing that really bothers me though is that schools are teaching evolution as if it is 100% fact.
I don’t know what to believe, and if this kind of “science” is harmful or not.
Any insight would be great.
