What is the difference between an apostolate and a ministry?

Can you tell me what the difference is between an apostolate and a ministry?
 
Generally speaking, “ministry” is service performed by the ordained. Those who are not ordained ordinarily cannot be thought of as “ministers.” An apostolate is service within the Church done either by the ordained or by laity.
