What is the difference between Communion and viaticum?

Can you please explain the difference, if there is any, between regular Communion and viaticum, which is the consecrated host given to the dying. Are some hosts specifically reserved to be given to the dying or is it just a designated name for the last reception of Jesus?
 
Viaticum (Latin, “food for the journey”) is simply the name given to the Eucharist given to a dying person. So far as I am aware, there is no difference in consecrated hosts given for ordinary receptions of Communion and consecrated hosts given as viaticum.
