What is the difference between predetermination and predestination?

Both those words sound similar but I guess you would use the word “predestination” on stuff that happens to people and not on certain non human related events events like a solar eclipse.Thank you anyone who answers this and God bless.
 
You are right although predetermination could be applied to all events including human activity and exponents of predestination like John Calvin believed that not a drop of rain falls without the express command of God!
