What is the main attribute of God?

All analogies will fail to be perfect descriptors, but that’s part of the point. They can still be useful.
 
If there’s no real capacity for a definition we can understand, then there’s no real lack of anything-that-could-possibly-be in God.
I think any being/thing who could have subjective experience can understand God. That is in fact in domain of God’s power to do that. Knowledge is subjective. This applies to God’s knowledge too. Therefore God can reveals Himself to us. Isn’t that something which one experience in Heaven, Beatific Vision?
 
God should have only one main attribute. Otherwise it is not metaphysically simple. What is that?
I think since he is creator, and I am creature, I will allow God to define himself. He is I AM.

Following Aquinas, let’s say that God is ipsum esse subsistens. This would be the most basic truth about God. God is the sheer act of ‘to be’ itself. God’s essence is not distinct from his existence.
