What is the Militia of Immaculata?

What is the Militia of Immaculata? The website confuses me. What is the difference between the Militia of Immaculata and the Knights of Immaculata? Are they for lay people? What is the tie to the miraculous medal? This is my first post i hope this is the right place. Thank you for helping me.

Militia Immaculata (MI) and Knights of Immaculata are the same thing.

It is for anyone who is Catholic, lay people, religious, priests. My understanding is that even if someone belongs to a religious order they can still become a part of MI (as long as his superior says it’s okay) as it does not compete with any other charism but enhances it. The Miraculous medal is worn by members as a sing of their consecration and we pray the prayer on it:

Oh, Mary, conceived without sin pray for us who have recource to thee.

and we add

especially the enemies of the Church and those recommended to thee.
