The most annoying thing i read is Protestants who keep bringing up the same old tired non-arguments… against Catholicism…

I don’t think i should name names… or should I??

To be totally honest, i haven’t kept good track of who says what here… but anyway… some of you have…

So… What is the most annoying thing you feel you have to deal with here?

This post is probably the most annoying thing I have read because it’s similar in theme to many other annoying posts.

well, if you look under Hisalone… and maybe… hmmm… what’s that other one… can’t think right now…

one of these days I’m going to look through all the posts by that poster and a bunch of others… never seem to have the time… 😦

guys don`t get annoyed. We are trying to spread the faith we know, and they are doing the same thing. We have to be patient towards each other. So please, no catholic should pick on any other non-catholic member in this forum.
 
same silly muslim apologists who have posted 1,000 and more posts yet continue their false allegations about the Catholic faith. they have been in this forum so long i assumed they have learned a thing or two about the faith, yet refused to acknowledge the Church’s true teachings. i wonder what their true intentions are being here in this Catholic forum.😃

The most annoying post I’ve ever read is a shoe ad, and it’s always the same shoe ad too.

What annoys me most is people, and certain users in particular, creating self-serving threads and say they want opinion, then don’t listen.

Also, threads irrelevant to NCR annoy me big time.

Illiterate posts - especially those that are PRINTED ENTIRELY IN CAPS mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/fighting/fighting0043.gif​

 
I actually have 3 things I’ve read that annoy me (ranked in order of annoyance):
  1. Christians assign “partners” to God - when this is obviously not true and has been explained over and over and over and over… but still gets repeated.
  2. The Bible has been corrupted (when no proof has been offered for this statement.)
  3. Jesus did not die on the cross, but escaped and went to India and lived to be 120 years old (or whatever age).
The third one I laughed my head off the first time I read it because I thought it was a joke (😃 ) and I honestly didn’t know there were people that thought that, but now I just roll my eyes at it. There has been no proof offered for this one in the same way there has been no proof that the Bible has been corrupted.

I have OCD when it comes to posting on the wrong forum, so smack my hand when I complain about it.

I will say CAF in general disproves the generalization that “there are no stupid questions.” oh yes, there are

but my biggest gripe about this specific forum, as you know, is the “Why do you beat your wife” thread.

“Why do Catholics do-say-believe-teach thus and so?” When thus-and-so is not even remotely close to Catholic practice or belief.

The only thing that makes my ears smoke hotter than this, is the thread that begins “I read somewhere, or heard somewhere, that Catholics or their leaders did [insert some horrendous practice or teaching from the imagination of the most fevered anti-papist brains in history], is this true?” without a shred of attribution or even attempt to provide a source.

glad to see the search function is back, I thought it had been disabled because nobody on this forum ever uses it anyhoo

this gets my vote and #4 saying that Jesus was married to many wife and people saying I,m going to hell,thats left to Our Lord and not some person====boy you almost had me using some ones name
 
The thing that is the most annoying is the constant bashing.

Lately it seems that some threads just go back and forth with the bashing of each other. The lack of respect for each others beliefs is staggering. I enjoy the debate but not the bashing.

One would think Jesus would prophecy that if it were to happen…and again - if we were to leave the faith He set up and a new improved one would be around the corner.

Still [after many debates] no one has come forward with that.
Besides the one thing Isaias said about one coming on a donkey and after Him one on a camel that roars like a lion.

But as far as being Catholic - well for one thing - the black helicopters [the wired men who brainwash us from reading the Bible] have yet to arrive to rescue us. :onpatrol:

Well I’m not the guy you wanted to have answer this, but I’m going to tell you what both annoys and grieves me. It is the awareness that so many on this sight don’t seem to acknowledge the true nature of grace. Verses like “There is therefor now NO condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”
Or,
“Therefor having been justified by faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Or,
“If while we were enemies we were reconciled to God, by the death of his Son, HOW MUCH MORE having been reconciled, shall we be SAVED by his life?”
Or,
“For by grace you HAVE BEEN SAVED, through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, NOT OF WORKS so no one can boast.”
Or,
“They asked (Jesus) ‘What must we do to work the works of God?’ He answered, ‘THIS IS THE WORK OF GOD, that you BELIEVE on Him whom He has sent.’”
Or,
“He who spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not also with him freely give us ALL THiNGS?”
