Just wondering what people’s opinions are. What do you think is the most direct and easiest route to salvation?

Frequent and good confessions, Eucharist, and spiritual reading.

In addition to Stephen’s suggestions, I would add charity and forgiveness toward others.

Consecration and devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary is by far the easiest 🙂

Our Lady to St Lucy June 13, 1917
“Jesus wants to use you to make Me known and loved. He wishes to establish the devotion to My Immaculate Heart throughout the world. I promise salvation to whoever embraces it; these souls will be dear to God, like flowers put by Me to adorn his throne.”

Jesus Himself tells us…
“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 37And He said to him, " You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.' 38*"This is the great and foremost commandment. 39*"The second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40*“On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.” (Mt 22:36-40 36)

“34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” (John 13:34-35 )

St Therese of Lisieux (a doctor of the Church) in her “little way” calls this the “elevator to heaven”. Do small things with great love.

Peace
James

Dying to self (that is the way, but perhaps a bit more philosophical than what the OP has in mind).

Is it too morbid to say have a tree fall on you immediately after you’re baptized??? :ouch:

Easy ??? Most Efficient ???

Is this what is important to you or is this a test question?
For a test I would answer this way…

How easy is it for a camel to go through the eye of a needle?

Yea, I know I answered a question with a question, but
this is my final answer.

[edit == how did that green smiley get on here???
am unable to remove him…shrug]

Wishes in our Lord Jesus Christ
As many of us pointed, Love is the best. True Love would then do continual prayer and all the other things necessary of the soul to reach its creator.🙂

Charity…loving God, the Blessed Trinity, above all things and loving your neighbor as yourself.

May God bless you and keep you in holiness! 🙂

Marian Consecration, daily Mass, and frequent confession will definitely give you the grace necessary, but in the end, it’s all up to you choosing Heaven over Hell.

Frequent and good confessions, Eucharist, and spiritual reading.
👍 Also, the spiritual and corporal works of mercy are always good to do. When helping others I have a better chance of staying out of sin myself.

The above posters gave great advice. I would add try to gain indulgences. Also read the Bible, pray the Rosary and The Stations of The Cross, daily Mass, penances, meditation on The Passion with a crucifix. The Book “Read Me or Rue It” by Fr. Paul O’Sullivan is very good.

Frequent reception of Holy Communion/ the Blessed Sacrament. Pius X

Read my signature and wholeheartedly follow these two commandments. I take the part where we need to LOVE God with all our mind, using all our spiritual and mental strength, most literally. I think we all fail here, and need to confess these sins regularly.

LOVE! ❤️

Love God faithfully, humbly, and trustingly. Realize that any good we do comes only from him. Accept that without his love and his grace, we can do nothing.

“Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
