I’ll say Mount Hoffman. It’s in Yosemite National Park, which is quite famous, but not everyone knows about Mount Hoffman, since it is outside of Yosemite Valley, near May Lake and the Tioga Pass Road. It is the highest peak I’ve ever climbed, at 10,855 feet above sea level and about 2,000 feet above the trailhead. I’ve climbed Half Dome too, which is also more famous, but Mount Hoffman is higher and so is for me the greater achievement. The view from the top is spectacular! I felt like John Muir for that brief moment.
