What is the procedure for a guest priest presiding at Mass?

Is there Canon Law or USCCB guidelines for parishioner requests to have Funeral, Wedding and other Masses without including or inviting the Pastor
 
Hi,

There is no law that requires that one have the pastor preside at a wedding or funeral. But if another priest is brought in for a wedding, he must request faculties (permission) to do so from the pastor in order for the marriage to be valid… Usually, a pastor is happy to have some help.
