What is the process to convert to Catholicism?

I am an Evangelical Christian who is very familiar with my faith, and with the Bible. From a lot of studying, I also am quite familiar with Catholic teaching. I feel like God is leading me to the Catholic Church. I have been baptized. What is the process for me to become a full member of the Catholic Church? About how long will this process take? I would like to know how I should even start, because I am kind of overwhelmed. I do not know if I have to make some sort of public profession, or do something in front of the church. Also, can I only join the Church on Easter vigil, or can I join any day in the year?
