So when we first start to pray, we do it badly. But we keep doing it, and then we get better.
You are starting out, but you are obeying God by beginning to pray. This is excellent! Even tho you do not feel like it, you are doing it because God asks this of us. In a few months, your prayer should have improved beyond this point, but for now, the fact that you are praying because your will is directing you to do so, is great.
And praying for your spiritual needs… yes, perfect. You are relying on Christ to fix you where you can not fix yourself. You are acknowledging your need for Him.
Yes, pray like this, keep on praying like this, do it every day, and then one dayy you will see that things are better and Christ is working on you.
