What is the reasoning for slow change?

In order to be modern and progressive in the light of the world is to be completely ammoral and be as spineless as a jellyfish.
 
So if I think something should change I talk to my Parish… then if agreed with me, he talks to his people, who talks to their people… then yadda yadda yadda?

Why is it so important to some women to see other women as priests?
Why don’t you become a protestant, i think they have female priests.
 
The Church doesn’t change for the world. The world is supposed to change for the Church because it wants to be with God instead of without.

One thing we do know is that this world’s heading down the proverbial tubes…

As it does - it becomes our task to not lose Faith (as is occurring as I type)
 
Catholic Church to change this “rule” to keep up with modern society?
Because modern society in of itself is not the criteria the Church uses to make decisions.
