What is this heresy?

Hi everyone!

Yesterday at daily mass, my priest was talking about a certain heresy where you believe you only need a little bit of God’s help, or that if you work hard enough, you can overcome obstacles with very little intercession from God. I don’t quite remember what he defined it as. I believe it sounded similar to the word “plagiarism”. Do you know which heresy this is? Thank you! God bless!

In a sense… it is the idea that original sin and man’s fallen nature do not exist and the man himself is sufficient enough to “go in it alone” without the aid of God.
