What is New Age? I have read threads about dealing with New Agers and such, but what exactly is it? For some reason when I hear or read the words, “New Age,” I think of hipsters. lol.

“New Age” refers to anything that seems suspect or makes me uncomfortable. 😛

In all seriousness, though, people tend to toss out the term far more frequently than is warranted. Of course, this is somewhat understandable as it does tend to be a difficult thing to precisely pin down.

New ageism is where people take beliefs or ideas from different religions that suit them. A bit of cherry picking if you like.
