One more thing…
Since Sacred Scripture is common in the “preserved by” for all three of Catholic, Orthodox, and Protestant…it sort of begs the question on whether there is anything in Tradition that is not found in Scripture.
Catholic: Not sure…I seem to have recall reading somewhere about material sufficiency versus formal sufficiency but now have forgotten what they are. At the least, if they are all in
Scripture they may not be of clarity that “even a cave man can get it”. Sorry for my rough wording here, I hope to refine it.
Orthodox: Not sure
Protestant: Probably not. Although some branches of Protestant might concede there are things in Scripture that are subject to different interpretations and that we should turn to the ancient writings (ECF and creeds) in order to discern “original intent”.
