One thing that I can’t stand! The Actions of some People who think that it is ok to sin all week long and then go to confession. We are called by God to Repent of Sin. This means we turn away from sin and turn towards our loving Father. God is merciful, and forgives us when we sincerely ask Him to, but if you don’t stop the Mortal sin it will eventually catch up to you, and destroy your life. Sin is a Killer. We must go to confession with a contrite heart and truly repent as we are taught. My best friend growing up went to prision for 13 years because he thought as long as he went to confession God would protect Him. God did give him year after year, but eventually it all caught up with him. Remeber I said I can’t stand the actions of the people, but the people I love. Now I know that no one is perfect and we all sin, but I’m talking about people who don’t even try. We need the Power of the Holy Spirit working in our lives to overcome sin on a daily basis and to truly know Jesus, We need to walk and talk with Him each day. The Closer we get to Jesus the futher we are to sin. What is true confession to you?
