What is wrong with abortion?
Those who exercise true love respect all human beings irrespective of their appearance or size. They, therefore, recognize the humanity of a one cell stage human being by recognizing that it is an independent life form with human genes; and has a human life force within it that initiates, directs and sustains a process to take that person through successive stages of development (over many years) to transform that person from a single cell individual to a fully grown human being with 10 trillion cells, multiple complex systems and a brain with a memory capacity equal to 20,000 computers. They, therefore see destruction of human beings in the embryonic and fetal stage as murder. They also see such an act as gross violation of human rights because it denies the victim from reaching his/her full human potential.

What is wrong with abortion?

It stops a process by which a living organism becomes a self sustained autonomous living being by a selfish self-serving act that kills said organism.

I was 10 years old in 1973 and in response to the new abortion law said that if a cake mix was put in an oven and if allowed to bake, it would be a cake. It is a baby because of the result it produces, unless interrupted and killed. I knew it was wrong even then. I still like cake, too!

gotta agree with bunbury. one of our commandments is though shalt not commit murder. its a baby when it’s one cell its a baby when its born and heck your still a baby when you die. not literally but figuratively. the church does teach to be respectful of others views, but that seems to of been miserably misinterpreted. there is never and shall never be any reason to kill any human being. yes we have wars, we are imperfect. there’s alot messed up about this world. so don’t mess it up anymore then it is. for all you know that baby could have been a neurobiologist and found a cure to parkinsons. i mean think about it abortions have been around since at least the roman empire. what if Mary had aborted Jesus cause Joseph had a jealousy issue and thought she was perfidious? what if YOU had been aborted? yes we know you weren’t but what do you think the baby thinks about this, they may not know wat abortion is per say, but a few months into pregnancy the baby can differentiate it’s mothers voice from other noise, it can think. its as assuredly a human as you and I.

i don’t come to offend, just to defend. just as St. Micheal the Arch Angel defended heaven from hell with God’s Charter so will I fufill my obligation to defend the Faith. in all matters, small and large.

The world will take abortion seriously when it sees what the word means, just like every mass-scale horror. Just as people take torture seriously when they see video footage of it. That’s why the abortion-pushers use such soft, light design and take such trouble to hide the little bodies.
