I agree completely. However, my point is that clapping after Mass, or outside of Mass, in joyous celebration of our God, is not only appropriate, it is in obedience to an awesome God.
Personally I have only seen applause for choir, singer of psalms, good homily, dance, extraordinary ministers…
Never for God. And that’s exactly what is Ratzinger talking about…
