What is wrong with this statement?

Today the Bible is complete.
Reve.22:18 reads "I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book:
If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book
See verse 19 as well.

The bible was complete in 384 when Pope Damasus 1 declared the canon closed. Every word in Protestant bibles was approved by Pope Damasus and the Church council. Then, 1,133 years later in Germany, something happened. A single disobedient priest, by his own authority, lead subsequent millions astray by censoring scripture. And Satan has profited ever since by the division in the Body of Christ. Now, Luther had his reasons, but the results were not at all what even he wanted.

For those who have only scripture as the basis for their faith, wouldn’t it make sense that they want even more scripture rather than less?

I hope you had the chance to review my post number 13 where I deal with canon issues and this verse.

Yes - Today the canon of the Bible IS complete and is found in any catholic edition of the Bible available at Any Bookstore.

1. Since this verse is in the Book of Revelation which was not included into the Canon of the Bible for another 300 years, this verse refers only to the Book of Revelation and NOT to the canon of the Bible.
2. Since the official canon of the Western for 1000 years was the Latin Vulgate, and this is the canon which formed the basis of Luther’s and others canon, it follows that it is the 66 book bible that was changed FROM the Larger Canon. What is the oldest 66 book canon you can find?
