Pro-life all the way. Condemns OK, because they don’t cause an abortion like others.

**You are anti-abortion, which is good. **
However, to be truly Pro-life means that you must be open to life as the Lord wills - NOT as you will.

Natural? What is natural about being kept alive by Technology.

My own living will states: treat me as if I was dying 200 years ago…in the same manner if the Hospital lost all power.

If God wants you pregnant the condom will have a hole. The only time I would use it in my marriage is when the doctor tells me not to and when I know that if I have a child I will not be able to provide for it. I heard that the Pope is thinking about making condoms OK. There is a woman who is extremly poor and has 15 kids or some number around that. If she had been able to use condoms she wouldn’t be ruining so many kids’ lives.

15 kids is her and the spouses fault. She and the spouse failed to exercise discipline in marriage. They gave in to the urges of the flesh instead of utilizing the discipline of the spirit.

If you don’t it will encourage lust. The guy that tought RCIA said that and he also said that it is even more important than going to church.

If that is your professional opinion I would suggest you contact the medical school you attended and demand your money back. Take a look on any package of condoms. They say that they are not 100% effective and that they do not prevent the spread of sexually transmitted diseases (i.e. HIV/AIDS).

This false thinking that condoms are perfect protection leads to two results. 1 - the continued spread of STD’s. Just look at Africa, which has been inundated with condoms. HIV continues to be spread like wildfire. 2 - it leads to the breakdown of marriages and the increase of extra-marital sexual relations and abortions. This is because the ideology of the contraceptive society is that they are being protected from STD’s and pregnancy when they are not. This leads to more promiscuity and a general downward spiral trend in marriages and society in general. Just look at society since the 1960’s when the so called “sexual revolution” began.

First of all - the notion that the Pope is considering making condoms “OK” is a bald-face lie - a fabrication.
**I get REALLY tired of Protestants, Non-believers and just plain Catholic-bashers fabricating lies about Jesus’ Pilgrim Church. **Show me the documentation on that tidbit of false info. The burden of proof is on YOU.
Secondly, as a supposed Christian, who are you to place barriers, hurdles, if you will, against the will of Almighty God?

Is that the best you can do for the defense of the abominable practice of artificial contraception?

I am not placing barriers against the will of God. What I said comes from personal experience. Some of the things I want to say are a little to mature for this thread. I am not trying to defend anything. This thread is about pro-life and condoms are not anti pro-life. prolife.com/CONDOMS.html Here is a website that shows condoms don’t work any way. So if someone wants to waste their money on condoms, just to see them fail, why not let them.

I don’t know about you, but I humbly acquiesce to HIS omniscience. Compared to Him - I KNOW NOTHING.

Whatever. I’m not trying to start an arguement. Why not permit adultery or condone druckeness? Because the BIBLE speaks against it. That is why not. I know this thread is not about condoms and that is what I’m trying to say. Why are we even talking about this when the thread has nothing to do with this? I have total respect for the unborn. Yes, I say I am Pro-life and I speak Pro-life. I agree that children are a gift from God. Noone knows what is better for themselves other than God. I do as well. I agree.

That is not what I’m saying at all. Again the problem is people trying to make judgments when they don’t know the crucial medical details, so they end up getting the wrong end of the stick!
