Hard to pick a favorite, but if we’re limiting it to bands I would probably say, Boston, Eagles, 3 Doors Down, Third Day,and Reliant K are my favorites.
We may be from different generations but have you ever heard Stanley Clarke?
I didn’t mean to say “the greatest” but “one of the greatest”. It’s one of my pet peeves when someone says that one musician is the greatest and here I slipped up and said it. All artists have different styles and no one is really the “greatest”.P.S. That is a very young Al DiMeola on guitar. Listen carefully to the run he plays from 5:10 to 5:20. The song is “The Magician” from Return to Forever’s “Romantic Warrior” album. A masterpiece if ever there was one.
Wow. Am I reading correctly? That is interesting.
- HIM (need I say more?!)
- Green Day (even though they’re on the pro-abortion list)
- The 69eyes (…yeah you can tell already. Listen to “Sister of Charity”)
- Aiden
- CKY (Don’t wanna know what that stands for)
- The Bloodhound Gang (don’t listen to their lyrics)
- Avenaged Sevenfold
- AFI
- Cradle of Filth (heaviest band I listen to)
I know exactly what you mean. How do you say who is the best? What would the criteria be?I didn’t mean to say “the greatest” but “one of the greatest”. Yes, amazing stuff. That was from a TV show in 1976, which explains the poor quality.I like that video. He does some interesting things on his bass. Definitley has some fast fingers and a catchy little tune to. I love people like him that can make you feel their music.
Ah yes, Buddy was great.Well since we are sharing good artists here is another one of my favorites. Drummer Buddy Rich. This is a solo when he was about 65.

Yeah your reading correctlyWow. Am I reading correctly? That is interesting.
I know this is from Talk Talk’s pop era, but Jorge Sedano on Fox Sports Radio uses “It’s My Life” as his theme song.Talk Talk, the old brit-pop band. I’m not a huge fan of their popular material, but rather their experimental stuff which ended up killing their career. “Spirit of Eden” and “Laughing Stock” are phenomenal pieces of art. I recommend them to anyone who has a deep appreciation for music.
Assuming your tongue wasn’t in your cheek:What songs did [Chicago] do? I never heard of them.
I’ll have to look for Gene Krupa tonight I have never seen any of his stuff. Here is an amazing group of drummers all together. Extreme talent in these guys.Gene Krupa was another great drummer.
I really never heard of them. I don’t recognise any of these songs.Assuming your tongue wasn’t in your cheek:

My favorite song is “These Are The Days of Our Lives”, which was off of Inudendo (which is not at all my favorite album, and on the whole, was not very good). However, my favorite album is “A Day At The Races”.i like queen ok…whats your favorite song?![]()
