Of those listed, I chose “Introduction to the Devout Life” by St. Francis de Sales. 🙂

My favorite book would be “Glories of Mary” by St. Alphonsus Liguori 👍

(besides of course the 73 books of the Bible, and Denzinger’s “Sources of Catholic Dogma”).

I love The Imitation of Christ. I am also reading St. Thomas Aquinas’ Summa Contra Gentiles, too.

Don’t know that I’d call it my favorite, but I do really like Scott Hahn’s The Lamb’s Supper.

I voted for Imitation of Christ, which is my favorite, and *The Divine Comedy, *which is a close second. I carry a copy of the Thomas a Kempis on me at all times so that I can dip into it whenever I feel the need; it has an intimacy I don’t get from Scripture. I’ve only ever read the Dante in English translation, but I’m gearing up to learn Italian just so I can read it in the original.

That’s easy. My favorite Catholic Book is the Holy Bible! 🙂

#2 - The Cathechism of the Catholic Church
#3 - The Confessions of St. Augustine
#4 - St. Thomas Aquinas’ “Summa Theologica”

God Bless,

Denise
